  • Eating: Prunes...I don't know why.
  • Drinking: Fantahhhhh.
This honestly has been the craziest, most awesome 4th of July ever. Here's a list of what I did:

-Went canoeing with Lisa in the Gulf of Mexico.
-Saw dolphins that I previously assumed were sharks and felt the need to scream, "Shark! Shark![realization hits] Dolphins! Dolphins!" in which laughter quickly ensued.
-Played with said dolphins.
-Had a cook out with the family.
-Bought fireworks.
-Took a road trip around two different counties in search of large fireworks display.
-Went to Arby's because Arby's is fucking awesome.
-Went and bought more fireworks.
-Set off bought fireworks which were pretty lame, really.
-Went to go see Star Trek for the sixth time [I'm so awesome].
-Note that all of this was done with Lisa.

Soooo, thank you Lisa for making this an awesome 4th of July. <333

Anyway, while being a total trekkie and watching Star Trek for THE SIXTH TIME, I did a count of how many times Kirk gets his head knocked around, and while it seemed like so much more, alas, it was only 5 times. Count with me. ;]

1. Bar fight
2. Security guards before he's marooned
3. On Delta Vega, thanks to disturbing ice creatures
4. Emotionally compromising Spock
5. On the Narada

I'm just awesome like that. :] Anyway, I hope everyone else had a great 4th of July! And I cut my bangs today. I got bored. Now I have my old bangs back. ;]

My given name is Amanda. None of my friends call me that. No, they call me a name that they got from Rent.

I am Pookie. And I cringe. On another note...

I was born in Florida and I absolutely despise that slab of limestone and palm trees. I now live in Tennessee, in a little, tiny town famous for something quite embarrassing.

Basically, I'm the coolest nerd on the planet, a violent musician, a spaz-prone Trekkie, a foolish broadway fan, a distracted writer, and an all-around impulsive being, a camera forever glued to my hand.

I play the most bizarre collection of instruments. I have the capacity of loving Star Trek and Star Wars at the same time. I even manage to love Japanese culture with a passion more fiery than the sun. I live to listen to Placebo, which happens to be the best band this side of the galaxy. I hate to sleep, but when I do, I never wake up.

I love to draw when I get bored. I'm not any good. But perhaps some day I will post some of my things. I take pretty pictures because I have a flare for spontaneous nonsense. I type faster than my brain processes information, so this is why many of my things are riddled with typos of all sorts. Forgive me, please.

I sing in the shower when I know people can hear me. I really hate Mondays. I love watching random people and making new friends. I love hugs. I love pasta. I secretely love slash. I can't keep my own secrets very well, but I'll keep anyone else's. I hate mornings. I have a new laptop named Spock. I'm always broke. I'm always sick.

I'm going to college to major in music, minor in English. I plan on becoming a band director and a novelist. I'm always repeating myself. I hate Twilight, even though I used to love it, before it became an industry. I'm a huge dork. I love to read. I procrastinate like nobody's business.

I excel at unorganized, strung-together thought processes.
